Club Overview

Located in the heart of County Tipperary, Thurles Golf Club has evolved significantly through its 100 years of history. With a membership base in excess of 1,100 members, the Club has developed a strong foothold in golfing chronicles in Ireland.

In a highly competitive market, the success of Thurles Golf Club is based on the commitment of its members to constantly look forward with a view to continuous improvement, whilst at the same time honouring the traditions of past generations.

During the last 5 years there have been noteworthy improvements, with a view to maintaining Thurles Golf Club’s reputation as one of the best parkland golf courses in Ireland.

Amongst those improvements include the following:

• - Redevelopment of the outward 9 holes
• - Opening a new state of the art and spacious Pro Shop
• - Opening newly refurbished offices that conform to both form and function
• - Re-introduction of a members Snooker room.
• - Improved communication with members via the introduction of Text Messaging and a periodic Newsletter, as well as the launch of our new Website
