OUT OF BOUNDS
(a) Beyond any boundary wall or fence of the course,
except behind the 8th green and on the 9th hole
where the lateral water hazard extends to infinity
(b) Inside clubhouse enclosure and yard
(c) Any part of the first nine when playing the second nine, and vice-versa
(d) On or over path at rear of 18th green and clubhouse surrounds
(e) In or over cuttings at left of 14th or 15th
MOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS
Stones in bunkers; rakes; marker posts
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS
Relief without penalty per Rule 24-2.
Gravel paths, except on 13th hole, tee display signs,
fixed sprinkler heads, yardage discs, wooden steps,
drain grids; chain railings on entrances/exits to bridges.
Bridges: If a ball lies on a bridge it must be played as
it lies or dropped under penalty (Rule 26.1)
Staked Trees
Relief must be taken from staked trees if such a tree
or its supports interferes with a player’s stance or
area of intended swing. The player must lift and drop
his ball, not nearer the hole, within one club length of
the point of relief.
WATER HAZARDS - (Rule 26-1): All areas defined
by yellow posts
LATERAL WATER HAZARDS - (Rule 26-1): All areas defined by red posts
On the 8th hole, if it is not possible to take a penalty drop within two
club lengths from the margin of the
hazard, the Drop Zone may be used

Marked “G.U.R” or by white lines

Replace and press down divots
Rake bunkers – leave rake in bunker
